This beautiful fireplace will be hand carved in a traditional style and would suit traditional or modern homes. As you can see from the photograph, its perfect for a multi fuel stoves or woodburners to sit nicely within its opening or perhaps a fire basket with a roaring open fire.

Every fireplace would be unique as the stone is locally sourced and as a natural material will contain some fossiling from the sea bed minerals and creatures and veining dating back to 145 million years ago.

The aperture of a standard size Sunstone is 800mm high from the top of the stone hearths and 850mm at its peak arch in the lintel. The height of the hearths are 60mm and the width of the opening is 800mm.

The widest point of this design is 1350mm this being the hearths and mantlepiece/shelf.

The overall height is 1190mm bedded from the floor to the top of the mantlepiece when bedded.

The Sunstone stone fireplace is in sections as follows:

1 mantlepiece bullnosed- 1350mm x 150mm x 65mm

1 arched lintel 1250 mm x 250mm x 100mm

2 uprights/legs bullnosed 800mm x 225mm x 100mm

3 piece outer hearth bullnosed - totalling 1350mm x 400mm x 60mm (plus recommended 10mm mortar bed) angled but can be 90 degrees if requested.

A inner back floor hearth where a stove or fire basket would sit upon is not included but can be purchased seperately (please see our hearth listings) or contact us if your size is not there for additional costing. No stone lined chambers are included

As with all our Bath stone surrounds, stone mix mortar will be supplied for all joints, fixing brackets, steel dowel and resin and full installation instructions will be included. We are happy to be contacted on 07976 240893 to offer any advice on the purchase
