The Garnett – Hand‑Carved Solid Bath Stone Fireplace Surround

Standard Garnett Dimensions

  • Aperture height: 800mm from the top of your own hearths

  • Aperture width: 700mm

  • Widest point: 1200mm (across the lintel)

Supplied Components

The Garnett surround is supplied in the following sections:

  • Lintel — 1200mm × 170mm × 190mm depth

  • 2 uprights/legs — 880mm bedded × 170mm × 190mm depth

  • 2 slips — 800mm bedded × 80mm × 35mm showing

  • 1 top slip — 860mm wide × 80mm high × 35mm showing

Optional Hearths

Matching 3‑piece Bath stone outer hearths with a small chamfer can be added if required:

  • Total size: 1300mm × 400mm × 50mm

  • Plain‑edged option available for an additional £300

An inner floor back hearth (820mm × 400mm × 50mm) can also be added for £140 when purchased and delivered with this surround.

Natural Stone Characteristics

Each Garnett surround is carved from locally sourced Bath stone, meaning every piece is naturally unique. The stone may contain fossils, mineral markings, and calcite veining formed over 145 million years ago, adding authentic character and beauty to every fireplace.
