The aperture of a standard size Garnett is 800mm high from the top of your own hearths. The width of the opening is 700mm. The widest point of this design is 1200mm this being the lintel.
The Garnett stone fire surround is in sections as follows:
1 lintel 1200mm x 170mm x 190mm depth
2 uprights/legs 880mm bedded x 170mm x 190mm depth
2 slips 800mm bedded x 80mm x 35mm depth showing
1 top slip 860mm wide x 80mm high x 35mm showing
Matching 3 piece Bath stone outer hearths with a small chamfer can be purchased if required - totalling 1300mm x 400mm x 50mm or plain edged for an additional £300.00.
A inner floor back hearth can be purchased a 820mm x 400mm x 50mm would be an extra £140.00 to quoted costs if purchased and delivered together with this surround.

We do offer a made to measure service on all our fireplaces and hearths please contact us with your own sizes for a personal quotation -do not purchase this listing if you require any alterations as you will receive the sizes listed.
Every fireplace surround would be unique as the stone is locally sourced and as a natural material will contain some fossiling from the sea bed minerals and creatures and veining dating back to 145 million years ago.
As with all our natural stone surrounds, stone mix mortar will be supplied for all joints, fixing brackets and full installation instructions will be included.
