Standard Garnett Dimensions

  • Aperture height: 800mm from the top of the hearths

  • Aperture width: 700mm

  • Widest point: 1200mm (across the lintel)

The Garnett surround is supplied in the following sections:

  • Lintel — 1200mm × 170mm × 170mm depth

  • 2 uprights/legs — 880mm bedded × 170mm × 170mm depth

  • 2 slips — 800mm bedded × 60mm × 35mm showing

  • 1 top slip — 860mm wide × 60mm high × 35mm showing

  • 3‑piece Bath stone outer hearths total size: 1300mm × 400mm × 50mm OR

  • 1 piece Brazilian black riven outer hearth 1300mmx 400mm x 30mm

Optional Hearths

An inner floor back hearth 820mm × 400mm × 50mm can also be added for £150.00 when purchased and delivered with this surround or a 1 piece back inner riven slate hearth at 820mm x 400mm x 30mm would be an additional £150.00 when bought and delivered with the fireplace.

Every Garnett surround is carved from locally sourced Bath stone, meaning every piece is naturally unique. The stone may contain fossils, mineral markings, and calcite veining formed over 145 million years ago, adding authentic character and beauty to every fireplace.
