Amethyst Bath Stone Fireplace

This elegant fireplace is hand‑carved in a traditional style, making it a beautiful addition to both classic and modern homes. As shown in the photographs, the Amethyst design is ideal for multi‑fuel stoves, woodburners, or a fire basket with a roaring open fire.

Aperture height: 800mm from the top of the stone hearths, rising to 850mm at the centre of the curved lintel
Aperture width: 800mm
Hearth thickness: 50mm
Overall height: 1150mm from floor level to the top of the mantlepiece once bedded
Included Components
The Amethyst Bath stone fireplace is supplied in the following sections:
Bullnosed mantlepiece — 1300mm × 150mm × 65mm
Bullnosed lintel — 1200mm × 225mm × 100mm
2 bullnosed uprights/legs — 800mm × 200mm × 100mm
3‑piece chamfered outer hearth — total 1300mm × 400mm × 50mm (plus a recommended 10mm mortar bed)
An optional inner floor back hearth (820mm × 400mm × 50mm) can be added for £140 when purchased and delivered with this surround.

Each fireplace is unique. Our locally sourced Bath stone naturally contains fossils, mineral textures, and calcite veining formed over 145 million years ago, giving every surround its own distinctive character.
