This beautiful fireplace is hand‑carved in a traditional style, making it suitable for both classic and contemporary homes. As shown in the photographs, it provides the perfect setting for multi‑fuel stoves, woodburners, or even a fire basket with a roaring open fire.

Aperture height: 850mm (measured from the top of the stone hearths)
Hearth thickness: 50mm
Aperture width: 800mm
Overall width: 1410mm (across the hearths and mantlepiece)
Included Components
The Melanite Bath stone fireplace is supplied in the following sections:
Mantlepiece — 1470mm × 160mm × 70mm
Lintel — 1350mm × 300mm × 100mm
2 uprights/legs —780× 225mm × 100mm
3‑piece chamfered outer Bath stone hearth — total 1470mm × 400mm × 50mm (plus recommended 10mm mortar bed) We do not supply black hearths.
An optional inner floor back hearth (820mm × 400mm × 50mm) can be added for £140 when purchased with this surround.

Natural Stone Characteristics
Every surround is unique. Our locally sourced Bath stone naturally contains fossils, mineral markings, and calcite veining formed over 145 million years ago, giving each fireplace its own character and charm.
