This beautiful fireplace will be hand carved in a traditional style and would suit traditional or modern homes and is one of our most popular designs.

As you can see from the photographs, its perfect for a multi fuel stoves or woodburners to sit nicely within its opening or perhaps a fire basket with a roaring open fire.

Every fireplace surround would be unique as the stone is locally sourced and as a natural material will contain some fossiling from the sea bed minerals and creatures and veining dating back to 145 million years ago which is the beauty of natural stone.

The aperture of a standard size Sapphire is 800mm high from the top of your own hearths. The width of the opening is 700mm. The widest point of this design is 1160mm this being the mantlepiece/shelf.

The Sapphire stone fireplace is in sections as follows:

1 mantlepiece - 1160mm x 150mm x 65mm chamfered

1 lintel 1060mm x 180mm x 100mm with underside chamfer

2 uprights/legs 800mm bedded x 180mm x 100mm inside and outside chamfers

Matching 3 piece Bath stone outer hearths can be purchased if required - totalling 1160mm x 400mm x 50mm chamfered or plain edged. Also a inner plain back hearth can be purchased 700mm x 400mm x 50mm is an additional £120.00 to costs.

No stone lined chamber included.

As with all our solid natural English Bath stone surrounds, stone mix mortar will be supplied for all joints, fixing brackets, steel dowels and resin and full installation instructions will be included.

There are photos showing our surround with customers own hearths to show how our Bath stone hearths and granite compliment each other. We only sell the natural Bath stone.

Delivery or collection is currently 4 weeks - however this can increased during our busy periods please check before purchase.

There are photo showing their made to measure sapphire surrounds on the customers own hearths. Also the stone is showing darker on some photos this is simply because they still contain water from initial wet cutting of the stone boulder and washing down the fireplace when fitted. It takes 3-4 weeks from installation for the fireplace to become fully dry and back to the original natural light neutral colour.
